We're hiring a Media Data Specialist to work from our office in London.
Role Purpose
Act as the central point of contact for data-related queries, processes, and accuracy for the clients in Global reporting tools: PowerBI, Tableau and Dentsu's proprietary "Dentsu Connect" platform. This role sits at the intersection of client services and data & tech operations, playing a critical part in driving key data initiatives to support business needs and strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Reliable Data Ecosystem: Delivery of consistent, trusted data across all relevant platforms (PowerBI, Tableau, Dentsu Connect), enabling accurate reporting and confident decision-making.
- Effective Collaboration: Strong relationships with both local market teams and global stakeholders across Client, Channel, Data & Ops teams.
- Operational Excellence: Following master-brand guidelines and continuous improvement of data workflows and reporting operations.
- Client Satisfaction: Supporting the client team in achieving excellent satisfaction scores by enabling insight-led strategic work.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Quickly identifying data discrepancies, root causes, and working with the Global data & tech operations lead to deploy long-term solutions.
- Client Focus: Central point of contact for all client data-related processes and platform queries. Own and resolve data accuracy issues across all markets. This includes leading monthly data checks on one of the client's Tableau platform - identifying any missing vendors, campaigns or markets and working to get these amended. Following through with the data accuracy roadmap to ensure all historical data is corrected. Support with onboarding new data feeds or updates into the relevant data hub. Champion and share best practice in data entry across all teams. Ensure reporting outputs meet contractual and operational standards. Own key data and process documentation for the clients globally. This includes keeping the data playbook up to date and sharing with markets.
- Data & Platform Focus: Collaborate with global and local teams to troubleshoot and fix platform discrepancies. Own manual data uploads into the data hub to ensure data completeness. Liaise with the platform teams to implement updates, changes, and improvements. Identify opportunities for automation and improved data integration. Translate business needs into data requirements and workflows.
Skills/Qualifications
- Experience in Media data management, Ad Ops or analytics role (in media, advertising, or marketing).
- Experience working with multi-market/global data sets.
- Familiarity with Enterprise level or holding company media plan platforms.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics.
- Exposure to media reporting, media investment data, and campaign performance metrics.
- Experience supporting enterprise-level or high-profile clients.
- Understanding of digital media channels and media planning principles.
- Understanding of Taxonomies and the implementation of Naming Conventions.
