The purpose of this role is to implement and execute SEO initiatives, in line with the agreed strategy, to maintain, develop and exceed client performance targets.
Purpose Of The Role & Key Responsibilities
- Understanding, maintaining, status sheet and prioritising client delivery alongside AM
- Proactively addressing client opportunities or issues on accounts
- High level of SEO knowledge covering: technical, AI, content and optimisation
- Working closely with key team members including, but not limited to, Management, Technical SEO, Content Strategists and Digital PR Specialists, as well as team members in other functions, to ensure client success.
- Comfortable creating sections in monthly presentations & QBRs.
- Leading the management of the work in advance of the AM
- Able to take on projects and manage from beginning to end of project
- Developing your SEO skills, through trainings, self-learning, and tackling new client challenges
- Strong understanding and experience using the most relevant SEO tools and their metrics
- Comfortable and experienced in presenting to large groups of people both client & internal team
- Creates client documents that demonstrate a forward thinking and data driven approach
- Identifies opportunities to move client accounts forwards, new tactics, process improvement, new thinking
- Clear understanding of SEO updates and trends
- Understands the key drivers of SEO performance and can translate data into meaningful recommendations that positively impact visibility and organic growth
Key Skills
- Experience within an SEO focused role. Within an Agency environment is a plus
- Passion about the world of SEO with a keen interest in becoming an industry leading expert.
- Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity.
- Experience working with some SEO tools e.g. Demandsphere, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Yext (we don’t expect you to know them all!)
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint, and a desire to develop in these areas.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.
- Natural curiosity to think outside of the box and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration.
- Ambitious and driven with passion for SEO and a keen eye for detail
What we offer
This is a 6 month FTC position. The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office every Tuesday and Thursday. As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs.
