As the Head of Social in the UK, you will act as the senior figurehead and capability lead for social across Dentsu Creative UK. You will be responsible for refining and operationalising dentsu’s social and influencer proposition, leading teams across Manchester and London and being a senior point of contact for social clients, platform partners and senior stakeholders. You will combine deep social expertise with a genuine curiosity for future innovation and thinking with a view to challenging and inspiring teams on what’s next in social. With strong commercial leadership you will oversee the commercial management, drive client growth, maximise efficiency and effectiveness alongside driving new business opportunities. You will play a key role in winning, securing and embedding new clients, while ensuring existing partnerships continue to grow and evolve. As a proven leader, you will coach and mentor an incredibly talented social and influencer team ensuring they are inspired and primed to do their best work in a supportive environment.
Operating across both B2B and B2C environments, you understand the value of brand but have the vision to reimagine how brands are built in new ways in social and that strategic lens enables you to view social as a core driver of business outcomes for clients.
What you'll do
- Act as the senior social lead and key point of contact for Dentsu Creative UK, optimising approach and setting the direction for social across the business.
- Lead and grow the social offering, ensuring strong social expertise, innovation and thought leadership across platforms, formats and emerging trends.
- Drive new business activity, leading pitches, building propositions and identifying opportunities to grow revenue through social.
- Secure and embed new clients, ensuring strong onboarding, relationship building and long-term partnership development.
- Own and oversee social commercials, ensuring work is delivered profitably and supports broader business growth targets.
- Lead senior client relationships, with proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder accounts across both B2B and B2C sectors.
- Partner closely with strategy, creative, media and CXM teams to deliver integrated, best-in-class social solutions.
- Collaborate with global markets to scale best practices, standardise approaches and enhance Dentsu Creative’s social product.

This is a permanent role. The team is based in our Manchester office but the team operates across Manchester and London so travel is expected. The team are in the Manchester office on a Monday and Tuesday. As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs.
