This programme is designed to improve access for people from lower socio-economic backgrounds. To be eligible, you must meet at least one of the criteria below:

  • The main household earner when you were aged 14 worked in a lower socio-economic occupation
  • You are or have been eligible for free school meals
  • You attended a school with above-average free school meal eligibility
  • You would be the first in your family to attend higher education (e.g. university or degree apprenticeship)
