We are hiring for a Senior Client Manager as part of our Sponsorship & Consultancy Team in London.

Purpose of the Role

As Senior Client Manager of sponsorships and partnerships, you'll work on delivering and implementing exciting collaborations in sport and entertainment, specifically Formula 1. You'll lead and manage the EMEA client relationships, activation plans, projects and client servicing team across a global F1 sponsorship and other sports. You'll provide support in managing the client's business to keep day-to-day activities running smoothly and support the wider team in delivery on accounts, managing capabilities and team to ensure on-time delivery and excellence in execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership and accountability for client/account fees and activation budgets, understanding and reporting on the commercials of your client responsibilities.
  • Oversee and direct the client team to effectively manage retained client work and project work, including race day planning, in-track branding, merchandise, at and off-track events, programme planning across social, ambassador, PR, on-ground activations, show car and gaming rig assets, and ensuring client deliverables are met.
  • Support Directors with management of resources and workloads across the team on designated projects, ensuring timesheets for self and direct reports are completed on time and accurately.
  • Support new business by participating in proposals and pitch processes, building opportunities from current and new clients, and pulling together proposals and costings for small to mid-size projects with support from Directors.
  • Participate in regular thought leadership in written, presentation and verbal format, including representing the agency at webinars and conferences.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Experience working with in motorsport and specifically Formula 1 is essential.
  • Experience in marketing either agency side, client side or with a rights holder on sport sponsorships and activation programmes.
  • Technical knowledge of sponsorships and partnership marketing, with attention to detail and drive to manage and develop activation programmes.
  • Strategic thinking to develop campaigns, activations and integrated marketing solutions.
  • Thrives in managing projects and enjoys working on sports/events in a close-knit team.
  • Strategic and logical thinker who can advise clients and suppliers to deliver best-in-class solutions and client service excellence.
  • Ability to analyze business performance for clients and measure sponsorship assets for accountability.
