We’re hiring a Procurement Manager as part of our team based from our London office.
Purpose of the Role
The exciting role will involve taking individual ownership for identifying cost-saving and value-add opportunities, as well as driving efficiencies across various Enterprise Technology Procurement categories. The role will require collaboration at a global level, interacting with a diverse network of colleagues and third party service providers.
Within dentsu Global Functions Procurement, our focus is to deliver value for money through commercially robust agreements and to enable business improvements and efficiencies via supplier sourcing and relationship management. The role will require applying strategic sourcing methodology and supplier/stakeholder management principles to deliver savings and service improvements in line with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of selected spend over an array of categories, which will include software, cloud, managed service providers and others as required.
- Development of global frameworks with favourable and robust global or multi-entity contractual terms, contributing to the evolution of our central and locally led agreements.
- Running RFx and competitive sourcing exercises for high-value, high-risk projects; implementing global rate cards where possible and incorporating requirements from Legal and Data Privacy, Security Assurance, Vendor Due Diligence, and other internal SME teams as needed.
- Expected line management responsibility, likely to be of one Procurement Specialist.
- Balancing multiple initiatives concurrently and addressing in order of business criticality, while still driving progress and maintaining communication with stakeholders on all engagements.
- Using excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal business leaders including Global, Regional & C-Level Executives to demonstrate and deliver value-add Procurement solutions.
Key Skills
- Substantial Procurement experience managing technology spend categories.
- Strong understanding of different software, cloud and AI commercial models and demonstrable experience of negotiating these, inclusive of mitigating risks and driving commercially sound outcomes into contracts.
- Strong experience negotiating global or multi-country contracts.
- End to end knowledge of third party vendor engagement for a large, multi-national organisation, with demonstrated delivery against the strategic sourcing process.
- Line management experience.
