The Digital Lead, supported by a Digital Manager, will bring strong Digital Media expertise to lead and develop the Digital Media Roadmap, partnerships and digital activation with a performance-driven approach as part of the Media Team supporting Shiseido.

Purpose of the Role: The Digital Lead is responsible for driving governance, performance, and strategic excellence of central digital media across the EMEA region. The role ensures strong alignment between central and local markets by establishing clear frameworks, standards, and ways of working that enable consistency, transparency, and best-in-class execution.
A key pillar of the role is the ownership and oversight of Digital Joint Business Plans (JBPs), including strategic agreements, budget forecasting, performance tracking, and business reviews. The Digital Lead also owns and continuously evolves the Digital Media and JBP Roadmaps, ensuring alignment with regional priorities and competitive dynamics.
In parallel, the role safeguards operational excellence in EMEA central digital buying — ensuring high-quality campaign setup, optimized trading practices, compliance with brand safety and viewability standards, and strong partnerships with third-party verification providers. The Digital Lead acts as the escalation point for digital execution and service-related topics, oversees reporting governance and dashboard accuracy, ensures proper finance processes from the Paris hub, and drives the adoption of acceleration learnings, digital insights, and innovation frameworks across markets to continuously elevate regional digital maturity.
Responsibilities:
- Provide digital media expertise for the central client
- Manage and develop Digital Manager and Trading teams
- Ensure high-quality setup and execution of central digital campaigns
- Oversee Digital JBPs, including agreements, budget forecasting, and business reviews
- Own and update the Digital Media Roadmap/ JBP Roadmap
- Contribute to Competitive reviews, regional annual guidelines
- Supervise Archie dashboard accuracy, taxonomy, and technical oversight
- Act as escalation point for digital execution and service evaluation topics
- Ensure application of brand safety and viewability standards across central campaigns and manage partnerships with third-party verification providers
- Ensure incident management and tracking
- Oversee finance processes from the Paris hub
- Drive application and adoption of acceleration learnings, digital insights, and innovation across markets
Qualifications:
- Experience in digital media, performance marketing, media strategy, or digital transformation, ideally within regional or central organizations demonstrated at a senior level
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and challenge senior regional and global leadership
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven track record of driving digital governance and media excellence across multiple EMEA markets
- Deep expertise in digital buying ecosystems, including programmatic, paid media, brand safety, viewability standards, and third-party verification frameworks
- Strong experience owning and negotiating Joint Business Plans (JBPs), managing strategic media partnerships, and leading commercial and performance reviews
- Demonstrated experience overseeing significant media investments, budget forecasting, financial governance, and regional performance tracking
- Experience defining, implementing, and enforcing digital guidelines, frameworks, and operational standards across markets
- Solid understanding of digital measurement ecosystems, reporting governance, dashboard oversight, and data taxonomy accuracy
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing Digital Managers, Trading teams, or cross-functional digital specialists
- Strategic thinker with a strong hands-on mindset: comfortable preparing, reviewing, and signing off key presentations, executive materials, and business reviews, ensuring high-quality and detail-oriented outputs
- Ability to balance long-term roadmap ownership with day-to-day operational excellence and act as a senior escalation point when required
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
