Purpose of the Role
The Commercial Development team sits within the Amplifi commercial team and is responsible for the management of all dentsu 'alternative investment' programs; Agyle, dentsu's proprietary principal investment program, Barter and the development of new products and programs to continue the diversification of dentsu's commercial offering.
Key Responsibilities
- The role reports into the Head of Commercial Development and sits within a commercial team of c.25 people.
- New business case creation, working with internal stakeholders across commercial, finance and Legal.
- Responsible for new client opt in strategy, working closely with senior client leads across all Opcos.
- Supporting in the delivery of revenue targets, liaising with all Opcos, Amplifi and external stakeholders to track and report.
- Supporting the Head of Commercial Development and Trading Leads in the negotiation of new deals and partnerships in the alternative investment space.
- Managing and developing junior team members (current direct reports to the role are the CD manager and CD Exec).
- Coordinating operational output, Trackers, Value Statements and similar elements created by the team, specifically CD Manager and CD Exec.
- Working closely with CD Operations Director to explore streamlining process and WoW that could include adoption of new systems AI.
Qualifications + Skills
- Extensive experience within media planning and buying or commercial/trading within media.
- Knowledge in using industry tools i.e. Media Ocean, Caria, together with good Excel skills.
- Excellent/Confident communicator: verbal, written, presentation and listening skills with internal and external stakeholders both senior and mid-level.
- Experienced in negotiation, deal management and delivery of commercial targets.
- Proven ability to coach and develop junior team members.
- High level of attention to detail with all output; we manage a 30+ client portfolio.
- Business case creation, contracting and working with legal teams a plus.

This is a Fixed Term Contract role. The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office 2/3 days a week. As well as a competitive salary, you'll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs.
