We are hiring for a Marketing Science Director to be based out of our Manchester offices.

Purpose of the Role

As Marketing Science Director you’ll specialise in incrementality measurement through either Marketing Mix Modelling or incrementality experiments, playing a pivotal role in assessing the true impact of our marketing efforts on driving business outcomes. You will be part of a team that takes statistical robustness seriously in the design of models and tests BUT we hope you can take the complex and explain it simply. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop methodologies, analyse results, and provide actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making. The purpose of this role is to set the strategic direction for the team, taking ownership of the overall Insights and measurement discipline in the market and liaising with clients to ensure an integrated response to marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of the full range of our products and services for our clients to improve their marketing effectiveness through the usage of MMM, Attribution reporting, experimentation & incrementality testing and bespoke media analytics.
  • Line manager for more junior analysts acting as a coach and mentor across the matrix management structure we utilise in data science.
  • Ensure the team of analysts deliver robust, accurate and timely results that build client trust in the decisions we recommend.
  • Act as the client lead for medium to large sized projects, ensuring high quality deliveries and effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create and present compelling stories informed by our data work for all stakeholders.
  • Creation of measurement frameworks and strategies.

Key Skills

  • Core understanding of the requirements, limitations & value of marketing effectiveness services such as MMM, Attribution, experimentation and Incrementality testing.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple diverse teams.
  • Project management for such activities to ensure the client deliverables are of high quality and delivered on time.
  • Ability to execute our core services independently and the ability to guide and train more junior team members.
  • Core statistical knowledge.
  • Core understanding of how marketing can contribute to business success and strong understanding of marketing theory.
