Purpose of the Role: Dentsu Gaming is seeking a Global Publishing Lead to define and operationalize the publishing strategy for Dentsu‑developed game titles as well as partner games across our global network. This senior individual contributor role shapes how games launch, grow and sustain long‑term player engagement – transforming both Dentsu originals and partner IP into enduring entertainment brands.

Responsibilities:

  • You will lead global publishing strategy across marketing, community, content, lifecycle and go‑to‑market planning.
  • You will connect brand marketing, performance media, CRM, creators, events and LiveOps into one coherent publishing system that enhances player experience, strengthens loyalty and supports commercial performance.
  • In addition to working closely with development, media, creative and analytics teams, you will manage high‑value external relationships with platforms, publishers and technology partners on behalf of Dentsu and partner titles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Publishing Strategy & Franchise Growth: Define a multi‑year publishing strategy for Dentsu’s game portfolio and partner titles and establish how publishing supports awareness, acquisition, community, engagement, retention and monetisation.
  • Global Launch & Lifestyle Execution: Lead global go‑to‑market planning for Dentsu‑built and partner games, including marketing, PR, community, creators and platform coordination, and build lifecycle plans that guide game sales, seasonal beats, content updates, promotions and live‑ops programming.
  • Community Creator & Ecosystem Integration: Develop always‑on community and creator strategies that sustain momentum long after launch, including building programs that encourage UGC, fandom, creator collaboration and native content across game platforms.
  • Performance, Insights & Optimisation: Set KPIs for awareness, engagement, sentiment, retention and monetisation for Dentsu originals and partner titles and lead structured experimentation across creative, audience segmentation, channels and live‑ops incentives.
  • Partnership & External Relations: Manage relationships with platforms, co‑publishers, distributors and media partners on behalf of Dentsu and its partner games and leverage Dentsu’s global network and strategic alliances.
  • Cross Functional Leadership: Drive alignment across creative, media, analytics, product, commerce, PR and community teams – without direct people management – and establish global operating rhythms for launch planning, content updates and cross‑market collaboration.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Substantial experience in global publishing, franchise management or product marketing across games or entertainment IP.
  • Experienced in launching and scaling digital products (games, apps, entertainment) with a deep understanding of AAA, F2P, live service cross‑platform or mobile ecosystems.
  • Expertise in go‑to‑market, lifecycle marketing, community development and platform partnerships.
  • Skilled at leading global initiatives without direct line management.
