The purpose of this role is to lead a defined set of interdependent enterprise data projects to ensure successful delivery of the required outcomes.

The Enterprise Data Consultant has a critical global role within the overall enterprise data team. Reporting to the Enterprise Data Director, this role will partner with functions, regions/markets to drive solutioning, education, adoption, and use of enterprise data model, data definitions and guardrails, MDM data products, and improve data maturity and quality. This individual will work with a cross-functional team of business leaders, regional leaders, technology teams, and functions to drive business planning, data-driven decision-making, operational efficiency, and innovation.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment
- Partner with business leaders, functional teams, and technology stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and priorities.
- Act as a bridge between business and enterprise data/technology teams and facilitate alignment on goals, scope, and expected outcomes.
- Data Consultancy
- Provide data consultancy to business platform, reporting, and analytics platform implementations, key changes to ensure alignment with enterprise data model and data architecture.
- Ensure enterprise data model alignment with master data management (MDM), metadata management, and data stewardship programs.
- Proactively engage in analyzing enterprise data management within business functions & platforms to identify areas of standardization, simplification, and innovation.
- Business Plan, Change Management & Adoption
- Develop and manage end-to-end business plan for stakeholder education, adoption, and support for enterprise data initiatives and products.
- Translate findings from discovery or business-related discussions with stakeholders into the business plan and consult with the BSAs on the requirements.
- Drive change management strategy and execution for enterprise data initiatives.
- Develop and execute communication, training, and enablement plans.
- Identify adoption risks and resistance points, and proactively address them.
- Measure and track adoption, usage, and business impact.
- Training & Enablement
- Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and user enablement sessions.
- Create user guides, playbooks, and documentation to support solution adoption.
- Act as a champion for business users, ensuring smooth transition to new ways of working.
- Business Planning & Value Realization
- Support development of business cases, value articulation, and implementation roadmaps.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and solution outcomes.
- Track benefits realization and ROI post-implementation.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across executive and technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of emerging data technologies and trends (AI/ML, data mesh, automation).
- Ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and change at a global scale.
- High emotional intelligence and intercultural competence.
- Experience in requirements gathering and documentation (BRDs, FRDs).
- Hands-on experience in change management and adoption strategies.
