Client Assistant, Sponsorship & Consultancy | MKTG Sports & Entertainment | London | Permanent
We are looking for a Client Assistant to join the MKTG team to work on delivering and implementing some of the most exciting collaborations in Sport and Entertainment. The role will support client teams in delivering the commercial partnership programme for a leading international sports federation, collaborating with globally recognised brands and delivering exceptional partner experiences both remotely and onsite.
Purpose of the Role
As a Client Assistant in Sponsorship + Consultancy, you will support the Client Executives and wider team on day‑to‑day delivery of projects, ensuring high performance and client satisfaction. This role reports to the Senior Project Manager and is based in London.
What you’ll do
Client Servicing / Account Management
- Establish, develop and maintain relationships with key clients.
- Respond promptly and accurately to client requests, coordinating with internal stakeholders.
- Attend and coordinate client meetings and updates.
- Update weekly client notes and project trackers.
- Conduct client competitive research with the insights team.
- Develop an understanding of client businesses, revenue models and the role of sponsorships within their strategies.
Project Management
- Assist with all aspects of client campaigns and projects, from basic admin to campaign support and ideation.
- Help coordinate creative brainstorms as needed.
- Support the delivery of multiple successful and profitable client projects, exceeding brief expectations.
- Maintain awareness of team obligations and proactively assist or anticipate needs.
- Coordinate status updates, circulate meeting agendas and contribute to discussions with rights holders and clients.
Administration
- Support team administration, including booking travel, handling expenses and invoices, and arranging meetings.
- Coordinate finance requirements on projects using company systems and processes.
- Complete timesheets and other day‑to‑day admin tasks accurately and on time.
Culture & Values
- Contribute to agency culture through participation in company and team initiatives.
New Business & Marketing
- Support agency marketing research initiatives.
- Contribute to marketing and promotion of the agency on social media platforms.
- Assist with new business opportunities as required.
Self‑Development
- Stay informed on industry news and share insights with the wider team.
- Seek out and undertake training, webinars and other learning to increase knowledge and skills.
- Plan and agree short‑ and long‑term career goals with your line manager.
What you’ll bring
