We're looking for a performance-driven Senior Content Executive to join the growing team at dentsu. You'll be passionate about everything Digital Content, from creating content calendars to video integration to monitoring social trends for your clients. Your responsibilities will include delivering on the strategy across 3‑4 clients, ranging from content planning and auditing to client communication and reporting, working closely with the SEO Account team and integrating with other specialisms where required. In addition, you will support new business research and projects when required.
Responsibilities
- Researching, analysing and drawing conclusions on what type of queries we should target and what content is required to rank at each point of the customer journey.
- Producing editorial plans, content audits and regular content recommendations which aid our organic performance and growth.
- Understanding the ever‑changing Google search results page and having a thorough understanding of the SERP features to own as well as the connection between onsite content and LLMs.
- Confidently leading 1‑2 smaller accounts on your own – i.e. without a Content Manager.
- Ability to be self‑sufficient and manage your own workload.
- Taking an active interest in innovation and industry updates, proactively making suggestions around how we can apply these.
- Proactively seeking integration opportunities with other channels e.g. Digital PR, Social, PPC.
- Confidently delivering training sessions and knowledge shares with the more junior members of the team.
- Leveraging tools and data to make informed decisions over topics and themes to own for your clients – knowledge of tools such as SEMRush and Google Analytics.
- Experienced user of Excel and PowerPoint as both are used heavily in the role.
- Taking an active interest in the wider SEO and Content industry.
Qualifications
- Curious, Creative, Self‑Motivated, Organised and Passionate.
- 2+ years’ experience in SEO/Content, either in‑house or within an agency.
- Experience working with large retail brands delivering strategies.
- Analytical and data‑driven, with some data extraction skills desirable.
- The ability to work closely with various teams, contributing on a regular basis.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and drive to continuously improve.
- Exceptional client‑facing ability and a strong communicator.
- Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages a bonus.
