As Account Director you'll manage the core client team, in close collaboration with the Client Lead, leading the day-to-day operations across planning, activation and reporting, ensuring compliance with global processes and business priorities driving cross-region alignment. You'll manage the client relationship and ensure collaboration and integration across internal specialist teams within dentsu to foster great relationships and support the local markets in delivering exceptional innovative, impactful, data-driven media activations that drive client's business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with 43 local market clients and planning teams assisting them in delivering best-in-class, full funnel media communication planning and activations, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives.
  • Bring alignment within the team to ensure insights, learnings and best practices are shared and applied across regions/markets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including strategy, eCommerce, media effectiveness and channel teams to deliver high quality, measurable and effective work.
  • Work closely with main global partners to identify and continue to evolve JBP opportunities to ensure we are leveraging their offering and capabilities.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices to continuously refine the client's approach to media.
  • Manage a Core Media Team on day-to-day governance with local teams.
  • Support junior members in career progression.
  • Identify opportunities that enhance client business performance and deliver measurable impact.
  • Coordinate global networks to deliver great client satisfaction scores at global and local levels.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Digital Media channels such as Display, Search and Social, and how they work together.
  • Experience working with specialist teams to deliver best-in-class media strategies and activations.
  • Hands‑on experience developing and executing full-funnel media strategies and communication planning.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and support junior members in their career progression.
  • Skilled at identifying opportunities that enhance client business performance and deliver measurable impact.
  • Experience working on global clients involving network coordination.
  • Ability to speak French is preferable due to the location of the client.

Employment Details

This is a permanent role. The team is based in our London office on a hybrid basis with two days per week on site. Regular travel to France for client and wider team collaboration is required. As well as a competitive salary, you'll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs.
