Senior Strategy Partner responsible for developing and delivering cross‑disciplinary solutions that elevate the role of media in client business agendas, strengthen Carat’s partnerships, manage strategic talent, lead new business pitches, and support the Head of Strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Elevate communications planning and strategy in clients’ businesses by providing provocative insights on growth audiences, consumer journey mapping, media creativity, end‑to‑end experience design and media & marketing effectiveness.
  • Establish Carat as an extension of clients’ marketing and business leadership.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders in client media and marketing teams to drive the media, communications, and marketing agenda with best‑in‑class strategic recommendations.
  • Proactively identify business challenges, develop cross‑disciplinary solutions, and sell them as incremental projects or scope.
  • Drive thought leadership on communications planning, marketing and business challenges, creating value for clients.
  • Identify and execute value‑creating strategy projects and training initiatives in collaboration with the Carat global strategy team.
  • Lead strategic responses on significant global/cross‑market new business pitches.
  • Forge strong relationships with senior global clients, advise on key issues, share insights on the changing media landscape, and demonstrate Carat’s integrated communication mix.
  • Leverage econometrics, business analytics and past campaign learnings to develop, refine and deliver media implementation guidelines.
  • Drive use of insights & planning tools on client briefs to produce business‑outcome focused planning across the media ecosystem.
  • Develop creative ideas, media partnerships and innovations based on the communications strategy, working with Dentsu specialists & teams.
  • Respond to strategic and campaign briefs from global clients, ensuring best‑in‑class thinking and global consistency.
  • Understand Dentsu strengths, products and pipeline to identify incremental growth opportunities.
  • Own and drive Carat’s strategy training agenda, leveraging dentsu where appropriate.
  • Coaching and guiding junior team members on all aspects of planning and strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to influence multiple stakeholders across cultures and countries.
  • Strong persuasion and selling of ideas and strategies to clients.
  • Experience mentoring and developing individuals from diverse disciplines.
  • Excellent ability to advise senior clients on the strategic direction of communications and deliver business value.
  • Best‑in‑class strategic thinking, clear written & verbal communication.
  • Deep understanding of media’s role in delivering business value for modern brands.
