In the role of OOH Planning & Buying Assistant, you will be working within the fast-paced and exciting Dentsu OOH Planning & Buying team and within that, part of a sub-circle assigned to the Carat agency group.
The successful candidate will report into the OOH Planning & Buying Director and will involve working & supporting the full Carat team to deliver high quality OOH solutions across a varied client portfolio that includes Vodafone, Ferrero, Arla, Lionsgate, Kraft Heinz and Molson Coors.
Job Description:
- Responsible for assisting & supporting the team to deliver against a variety of client work, e.g.
- Booking campaigns on our internal booking system
- Responsible for team admin and following our finance and booking process so campaign billing runs smoothly.
- Using internal planning and insight tools to help add detail and context to plans and responses
- Collating photographs and play out reports for each campaign.
- Pulling together Post Campaign Analysis (PCA) reports to detail campaign success back to clients
- Collating & compiling campaign data into agreed Excel templates for 3rd party campaign analysis (e.g. audits / econometric modelling)
- Supporting the team to collate responses and supporting collateral into specified Excel plan / PowerPoint templates
- Supporting the P&B Director/Manager to build effective working relationships and practices with key media owners.
Throughout your time as Planning & Buying Assistant you will be growing your knowledge about the OOH marketplace & landscape, with the idea that over time you get more involved in the planning process and supporting the team to pull together compelling client responses to briefs.
Key Competencies
- Good communication skills with the ability to identify and highlight any issues or opportunities.
- Able to build positive day to day working relationships with media owner partners and internal stakeholders in Planning and Buying.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint as well as strong I.T foundations to learn our internal tools and systems.
- Good project management skills to manage and prioritise varying volumes of work and completion of tasks effectively and in a timely manner.
- Excellent administration skills with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Pro-active and willing to build OOH knowledge.
- Strong team player but with the capability to work independently, problem solve and make decisions
