Senior CG Designer

Reporting to: Executive Creative Director

Future Deluxe is a global creative studio with offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, and Sydney. We combine design, technology, and moving images to craft visual experiences for future-facing brands. You’re passionate about visual storytelling and have a history of playing a senior role on projects that include a high level of polish and complexity. You have a keen eye for design and a strong technical background, all mixed with a healthy amount of curiosity to drive your work beyond what you, us, and our clients have ever seen before.

The Opportunity:

1. Lead productions with confidence and calmness, always creating space for creativity.
2. Create strong style frames and execute productions from inception through delivery.
3. Able to lead projects from start to finish in a technical/execution sense, knowing which approaches to take for different jobs and able to effectively communicate them to production and the team.
4. Act as a partner with Directors, creating mood boards and contributing conceptual ideas to projects.
5. A resource for Directors and Producers contributing to discussions from inception to delivery.
6. Able to address technical issues within projects, sometimes acting as support for teammates who are troubleshooting their technical hurdles.
7. Consult and advise on reasonable paths forward when facing project bottlenecks.
8. Execute detailed feedback effectively, showcasing your ability to question and offer creative solutions to problems.
9. Investigate new workflows for the projects, designing and implementing new tools and efficiencies to progress the team and studio.
10. Act as a mentor for more junior members of the team.
11. An interest in emerging technologies and techniques.
12. Utilise your in-depth knowledge of C4D and/or Houdini + Redshift.
13. Have a high level of execution in the areas of:

1. Look Development & Texturing
2. 3D Animation and/or simulation
3. Scene assembly & lighting
4. Compositing (AE and/or Nuke)
