Role Purpose
As Senior Social Media Executive, youâll work closely with the wider social team and clients to support the delivery of alwaysâon social activity, helping to manage dayâtoâday workstreams. Youâll bring a mix of creativity and analytical thinking, with a strong understanding of the fastâmoving social landscape and the ability to spot performance insights and opportunities. Supported by a collaborative social team, this role offers the chance to develop your skills across a range of exciting food and beverage clients.
Responsibilities
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, platform updates and formats, translating these into relevant opportunities and recommendations for clients.
- Monitor and manage client social channels for consumer care queries, owning dayâtoâday responses and escalation processes with the support of the Social Media Manager.
- Identify, track and collate positive community engagement and external opportunities for clients to participate in wider cultural and social conversations.
- Use strong platform knowledge and a passion for social to compile daily trend and insight packs, tailored to individual clients.
- Support the Social Media Manager with weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, pulling and analysing data to inform performance insights and optimisation.
- Support the Social Media Manager and Social Director with adâhoc client requests, ensuring responses are timely, accurate and strategically considered.
- Attend key client meetings where required, preparing agendas and capturing clear actions, notes and followâups.
- Writing social media copy, with the ability to flex tone of voice across different brands and audiences.
- Support the Social Media Manager with briefing creative and creator teams, booking resource and ensuring ideas are translated into effective social content.
- Schedule and publish social content across client channels; experience using social publishing tools such as Brandwatch is beneficial but not essential.

- 1-2 years experience in a social media role.
- A complete understanding of the social media landscape.
- The ability to form and strengthen solid client relationships (having proof of this).
- Quick to absorb and analyse large amounts of information.
- Enthusiastic, energetic and imaginative.
- Approachable, outgoing and diplomatic.
- A clear communicator, in person and writing.
- Able to present ideas with conviction.
- A mix of both analytical and creative skills â you love understanding whatâs working as much as you love thinking of ideas!
- Curious and keen to learn and develop new skills.
- Highly organised and flexible.
- Experience creating content for social media would be beneficial, but not mandatory.

- The team is based in our Manchester office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office every Monday and Tuesday.
