Dentsu is an integrated growth and transformation partner to the world’s leading organizations. We’re hiring a Senior Procurement Manager as part of our team based in London.
Purpose of the Role
The role involves overseeing and delivering the Enterprise Technology category, which includes software, cloud, managed service providers, SaaS, security, and infrastructure. The manager will lead a small team, apply strategic sourcing methodology, and manage day‑to‑day procurement of technology tools, professional services, and support and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all strategic and business‑as‑usual activity for Enterprise Technology, including supplier selection, set‑up, contract terms, negotiation strategies, and business improvement plans.
- Develop, execute, and monitor the Enterprise Technology category plan; contribute to category benefits targets by partnering with business units and the team.
- Manage a team of 4, supporting development, well‑being, and a positive working culture.
- Balance multiple initiatives concurrently, prioritise by business criticality, and maintain communication with stakeholders on all engagements.
- Develop contractual solutions and global contracts/frameworks; negotiate commercial agreements across the globe, balancing global, regional, and cross‑brand challenges and needs.
Key Skills
- Substantial procurement experience managing technology spend categories.
- Strong understanding of software, cloud, and AI commercial models; demonstrated negotiation experience including risk mitigation and commercially sound outcomes.
- Experience negotiating global or multi‑country contracts.
- End‑to‑end knowledge of the strategic sourcing process and delivery against it.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work well with others.
- Sound knowledge of contractual law.
