The role is to lead and manage the implementation and execution of CRO strategies and daily communication with clients to help them achieve their goals. You will be part of dentsu Optimisation & UX team, one of the world's largest digital-first end-to-end media agencies. The team operates as a small agency within a large network, offering CRO and UX to top companies such as Specsavers, Asda, Dr Martens, Honda, Pets at Home, People’s Postcode Lottery, Jurys Inn and more. We are growing our CRO department and we are looking for a Senior Optimisation Manager to lead our CRO and UX projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of CRO & UX Specialists, including Strategists, Designers, Data Analysts, Researchers and Developers.
- Manage resources, prioritise work and provide direct team leadership.
- Oversee a portfolio of client accounts, guide account teams and ensure clients receive value for their investment.
- Review client strategies to ensure alignment with long-term objectives, including A/B testing, page/journey redesigns, optimisation of the acquisition journey and site speed optimisation.
- Be accountable for clients, identify potential threats and find solutions to keep clients satisfied and invested.
- Lead annual, quarterly and monthly client reviews, communicating optimisation success to senior stakeholders.
- Instill an evidence‑based culture of website optimisation, using quantitative and qualitative methods to understand client products and customers.
- Plan team resources with strategists, set deadlines and prioritise activity.
- Build relationships with wider agency teams such as PPC, SEO, Social, Affiliates and Analytics to collaborate and identify growth opportunities.
- Identify cross‑sell and new client opportunities and work with sales to increase client investment.
- Organise and deliver training sessions for all team members.
- Analyse our proposition and innovate with the team to keep our services at the forefront of the CRO market.
Qualifications
- Direct management experience, including creating and following personal development plans.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CRO and UX, covering A/B testing, personalisation and UX projects.
- Excellent communication skills, able to lead difficult client calls or meetings at short notice and drive actionable conclusions.
- Ability to mentor and coach the team on all aspects of CRO and encourage continuous learning and development.
