This role is pivotal in shaping B2B paid social strategy, driving commercial outcomes for clients and leading a high‑performing team to deliver best‑in‑class execution across complex, enterprise accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead senior client relationships, act as day‑to‑day lead and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, demonstrating a deep understanding of commercial objectives and buying environments.
  • Own B2B paid social strategy and translate strategic briefs into actionable media plans that reflect audience behaviour across long and complex sales cycles.
  • Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership to clients with a focus on demand generation, pipeline influence and full‑funnel performance.
  • Develop and own testing roadmaps to drive continuous improvement in audience segmentation by job function and seniority, account‑based marketing approaches and funnel stage optimisation.
  • Identify new opportunities across platforms, formats and audience strategies relevant to professional and enterprise audiences, and capture, share and scale learnings across campaigns.
  • Champion a test‑and‑learn culture, focusing on measurable B2B commercial impact.
  • Oversee campaign planning and execution to ensure delivery against B2B‑relevant KPIs, including MQL and SQL volumes, cost‑per‑lead and pipeline contribution.
  • Drive performance optimisation through data and insights, connecting paid social activity to CRM and marketing automation outcomes where applicable.
  • Ensure high standards across campaign quality, reporting and financial management, supporting forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Lead and develop Paid Social Managers and Executives, overseeing workload management, resource allocation and fostering a collaborative, accountable and high‑performing team culture.
  • Work closely with the Paid Social Partner to align account strategy with wider B2B priorities and capabilities, partnering with cross‑channel teams to deliver integrated B2B solutions.
  • Support Total Social integration across paid, organic and creator activity where relevant to B2B client objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Significant experience in paid social within an agency or client‑facing environment, with a proven focus on B2B campaign delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead senior client relationships and develop strategic recommendations that connect paid social to commercial outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of LinkedIn Campaign Manager and its B2B targeting capabilities, with experience across Meta for demand generation and retargeting within B2B strategies.
  • Strong grasp of B2B marketing principles, including funnel design, account‑based marketing, lead qualification, nurture flows and CRM integration.
  • Experience working across complex or enterprise B2B accounts with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Proven track record of delivering against B2B performance metrics, including CPL, MQL, SQL and pipeline contribution.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and clear client narratives.
  • Experience managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on oversight of execution.
