Join our cutting-edge dentsu team where, as a Junior Associate in one of our Specialism teams, you will be automatically enrolled into our unique and industry-leading Academy. We are searching for Junior Associates for 3 of our Specialism teams: Paid Search, Integrated Display and Publishing. We welcome new joiners from all backgrounds; you can be freshly graduated, straight out of college, fancying a career change or just looking for a new opportunity!
As part of our Academy, your skills and knowledge will be nurtured by some of the most experienced minds in the industry - equipping you with the fundamentals to succeed in your role! Following a comprehensive induction programme, our Junior Associates rapidly build a balanced portfolio of clients that vary by size and industry in one of our fantastic Specialism teams, and from there you will begin to work on media marketing campaigns for our globally-renowned clients.
Job Description: The Junior Associate role is a great opportunity for an individual with a passion for being at the cutting edge of Media Marketing and a desire to work at a world-leading Media Agency. Key Accountabilities:
- Innovative Campaign Assistance: Assist in the implementation of high quality, innovative campaigns.
- Daily Quality Checks: Accurately complete quality checks to ensure we deliver world class campaigns for clients in line with strategy.
- Client Growth: Provide support across optimisation on client activity and support the team in client growth.
- Performance Analysis: Responsible for the generation of reports and insightful analysis on effectiveness of campaigns.
- Qualified Junior Associate: Completion of all relevant training and accreditation e.g. Google, Amazon.
- Industry Trends: Keeping up with what’s happening in the world of media marketing; trendspotting for clients as well as staying up to date on platform updates that may be relevant.
- Excellent Communication: Relationship building and communication with clients, internal teams, media owners, and industry partners.
We expect you to have a high level of personal responsibility for the work that you complete. The ability to follow processes, multitask and prioritise work accordingly is important. A high level of numeracy and literacy is essential due to the nature of the role being analytical and client-facing. Well-developed logic, problem-solving and reasoning skills, including an aptitude for data analysis, are required. You should be able to work under pressure with attention to detail as we thrive from being a centre of excellence and provide error-free work for our clients. An eye for detail is key!
You will need to work effectively and collaboratively with a team; building relationships with your stakeholders is key to being successful at dentsu. Experience in Excel would be preferable but not mandatory. A strong sense of professionalism, commercialism, and a deep respect for others is essential.
Training: From your first day you will embark on our extensive training programme. You will quickly be introduced to your Specialism through in-person and virtual classroom sessions, online training, and various workshops. You will be assigned a buddy who is dedicated to your learning and, alongside your manager and the Academy Team, will assist you with any questions you may have.
Data: You’ll be working with large sets of data from the beginning of your dentsu career! From the outset you will be spending time in Excel to learn where your campaign may need optimisation and spend time analysing your data.
Campaign Builds: It will be your responsibility to get a briefing from the client on how they would like to build their campaign. You will advise on our best practice and then build it from scratch or sometimes improve upon existing campaigns. Additionally, you will have increased opportunities to assist wider teams with analysis pieces.
Consultative Work: You’ll foster strong, professional relationships with your clients, keeping in regular contact with them through a variety of mediums, whether this is through consistent email communication, weekly phone calls or sometimes regular face-to-face meetings. You will utilise your skills to understand your client’s goals and objectives and, as your relationship building skills progress, you could find yourself having increased involvement in your clients’ strategic decisions.
Tools and Platforms: Regardless of which Specialism you join, you will need to become extremely familiar and confident working with numerous platforms. Through our training programme, you will also have the opportunity to take several courses to improve and enhance your skills on a variety of other platforms.
