As an Affiliate Manager, your role will be focused around managing a team of Affiliate professionals, dedicated to producing the highest quality of work within agreed deadlines. You will ensure your team has the necessary tools and skills to maintain the highest standards in Affiliate delivery, ensuring all of our clients’ needs are met and expectations exceeded. You will take pride in your work, delivering best practice campaigns across key clients and networks such as Awin, Impact and Partnerize.
Success will be measured through improving account performance, growth in investment in Affiliates, internal audit scores, case studies, reduction in errors, client growth and client retention.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESYour responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Being responsible for the delivery of clients KPIs including revenue, ROAS and ensuring budget is effectively.
- Provide strategic direction to clients on how to maximise performance.
- Forecasting key metrics for clients on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis.
- Knowledge sharing with the wider affiliate team and becoming a point of authority in all things affiliate.
- Help build and deliver training to both new starters and junior members of the team.
- Contribute to the wider growth of the Addressable Solutions channel through cross sell and upsell opportunities where possible.
- Challenge & interrogate briefs, ensuring delivery is of the highest standard, on time and in line with agency values.
- Implement and manage client process including reporting & finance.
- Be an expert in all relevant tools & technology.
- Build & maintain project and account development plans outlining all key tasks for clients.
- Ensure deadlines are met, actively working on key accounts where necessary.
- Responsible for quality of all work output from your team across all clients; ensuring that it conforms to agency best practice.
- Line management of affiliate assistant/executive.
- Aptitude to build and maintain strong working relationships, both internally with senior and junior team members, and externally with affiliates and networks.
- Ability to pre-empt issues and be creative and pro-active in producing solutions.
- A high degree of numeracy and literacy are essential.
- Flexibility in time management to ensure all deadlines are hit.
- Ability to work under pressure and with short deadlines.
- Highly literate in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

- In depth knowledge of the wider Affiliate industry, keeping up to date with the latest trends, updates and technologies across all networks and publisher types.
- Support the Senior Affiliate Manager, Affiliate Director and Affiliate Partner in driving channel growth and product innovation.
- Be responsible for the delivery of revenue across the clients within your team and pursue all potential cross sell and/or up-sell opportunities.
- Support the Senior Affiliate team on new business pitches.
- A sound grounding in digital media, with a good general understanding of how each channel impacts one another.
- Regular and accurate forecasting (incremental, monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Expert in creating and managing processes.
- Adaptable beyond the core aspect of the role.
- Role modelling our values and behaviours at all times.
- Training of other members in the affiliate community.
- Management of Affiliate Assistants/Executives.
- Experience working on large affiliate programmes.
- 3+ years’ experience in Affiliate channel either client-side, at a network, at an agency or publisher-side.
- 1+ years’ experience in team management and/or mentoring and coaching others.
- Passionate about the affiliate channel, with a keen interest in the development of affiliate technology as a channel, keeping track of new developments within the industry.
