As maternity cover, this role will oversee a team of 22 specialists spanning three core capabilities: Data Visualization, Data Intelligence, and Consulting. Acting as a senior client partner, the MD leads day-to-day client engagement for key accounts, ensuring our data and technology offering is both visionary and grounded in business impact.

This is a hands-on leadership position requiring deep cross-functional coordination, commercial expertise, and a forward-thinking approach to innovation and delivery. The role may also contribute to new business growth by supporting pitch activity alongside media teams or through strategic outreach to existing clients to expand Dentsu’s footprint.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead a team of 22 data specialists across Visualization, Intelligence, and Consulting.
  • Foster a high-performing and inclusive team culture, ensuring continuous development, support, and inspiration for individual and collective growth.
  • Actively manage team structure, prioritization, and workflow to ensure effective resourcing across multiple high-value clients.

Client Partnership & Delivery

  • Serve as the senior strategic lead for key client relationships, leading data and technology delivery across multiple sectors.
  • Translate complex data challenges into actionable strategies and overseeing implementation.
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and clarity in client deliverables

Industry Leadership & Internal Influence

  • Act as a senior representative for Dentsu in external forums, contributing to industry dialogue and reinforcing our brand reputation.
  • Build strong relationships across lines of business to embed our data solutions into end-to-end client delivery.

Commercial Growth & Innovation

  • Contribute to new business efforts, pitching all data capabilities
  • Drive new and incremental revenue by expanding client relationships, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and supporting the wider Dentsu business development agenda.
  • Guide the development and adoption of new data products and services as well as packaging these offerings

Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams across different capability areas and levels of experience.
  • Strong client leadership skills, with a track record of building trust and delivering high-impact strategies across data, tech, and analytics.
  • Experience managing commercial delivery, revenue planning, and strategic account growth.
  • Deep expertise in data strategy, measurement frameworks, and applied analytics.
  • Confident presenting complex concepts and technical solutions to C-suite and senior stakeholders.
  • Skilled at balancing strategic vision with operational execution, able to get into the details while keeping teams focused on the big picture.
  • Excellent internal collaboration skills across product, media, tech, and creative disciplines.
