Amplifi is the investment and innovation arm of dentsu across all media channels and entertainment content. The proposition is based on the delivery of value for all in everything we do. Our focus is to deliver the best possible media value for clients through leveraged media buying, sustainable media income and enable innovation with the supply-side with product, services and capabilities.

Purpose of the Role

The Product Marketing Director is responsible for driving the positioning, go-to-market strategy, and adoption of dentsu Growth Solutions — primarily across dentsu UK’s agency network but also externally as appropriate to help generate client demand. This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on ensuring that client-facing colleagues in Carat, DentsuX, iProspect, and Amplifi — across planning, investment, client leadership, and new business — understand, believe in, and actively champion Growth Solutions in their day-to-day conversations, while also creating the market-facing narratives and materials that stimulate client interest and traction.

This role sits at the intersection of product marketing, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and demand generation. The Product Marketing Director will translate complex product propositions into clear, compelling narratives and equip teams with the materials, tools, and confidence they need to sell and position Growth Solutions effectively — while also developing client-facing content and campaigns that generate awareness, interest, and demand. Key outputs include presentation decks, one-pagers, case studies, video content, SharePoint sites, client-facing thought leadership, and other high-impact communication formats — all designed to educate, excite, and convert.

The role requires a self-starting, creatively minded marketer who combines strategic thinking with exceptional execution. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating with significant autonomy, managing their own priorities, and delivering at pace — while also leveraging AI and agentic AI tools to accelerate content production, improve accessibility, and maximise reach. This is an individual contributor role that is expected to collaborate widely, reporting directly to the Managing Director, Growth Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Go-to-Market Strategy & Product Positioning: Define and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing Growth Solutions, ensuring each product is supported by clear positioning, compelling messaging, and a structured rollout plan for new solutions and updates. Develop clear, compelling positioning and messaging for each dentsu Growth Solution, translating technical product features into client-relevant value propositions that drive commercial interest.
  • Demand Generation & Client-Facing Content: Develop client-friendly content and initiatives that generate awareness, interest, and demand for dentsu Growth Solutions — including thought leadership pieces, newsletters and creative communications, market insight reports, and solution showcases as well as create compelling pitch materials, proposal content, and leave-behinds that strengthen dentsu’s competitive positioning in support of both new business and organic growth opportunities.
  • Sales Enablement & Content Creation: Design and produce high-quality marketing materials including PowerPoint decks, one-pagers, case studies, infographics, video content, and interactive digital assets for both internal and client-facing use. Develop sales enablement toolkits that equip agency teams with ready-to-use assets for client conversations, briefs, pitches, and strategic reviews.
  • Internal Engagement, Education & Advocacy: Design and deliver internal engagement programmes — including launch events, roadshows, webinars, training sessions, and drop-in clinics — that build awareness, understanding, and enthusiasm for Growth Solutions across agency teams. Create compelling internal communications — newsletters, updates, success stories, and spotlight features — that keep Growth Solutions visible and top-of-mind across the business.
  • AI & Technology-Led Productivity: Leverage AI tools — including generative AI, and agentic AI — to accelerate content creation, personalisation, and distribution at scale. Including tools that enable client-facing teams to quickly generate tailored Growth Solutions content, summaries, and talking points on demand.
  • Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning: Monitor competitor product marketing, positioning, and go-to-market activity across media agencies, publishers, tech platforms, and data companies to inform dentsu’s approach.
  • Performance & Tracking Optimisation: Define and track key metrics for product marketing effectiveness – including content engagement material adoption, internal awareness, demand generations contribution and influence on pipeline and revenue.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Proven experience in product marketing, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, or marketing communications — ideally within a media agency, publisher, tech platform, ad tech provider, or data business.
  • Strong understanding of the digital media and advertising landscape, particularly across CTV, programmatic, social, video, and emerging channels.
  • Demonstrable experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies and demand generation campaigns that drive commercial outcomes.
  • Some hands-on experience with AI and generative AI tools for content creation and productivity enhancement — and a genuine enthusiasm for exploring what’s next.
  • Strong visual and design sensibility, with proficiency in PowerPoint, Canva, or similar tools, and an eye for impactful, on-brand creative.
  • Experience building and managing content hubs, intranets, or digital resource libraries (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence).
