Purpose of the Role
The Internal Communications Executive supports the delivery of internal communications across dentsu UK&I. You will execute communications plans, manage key channels, and create clear, engaging content that aligns to our brand and tone of voice. Working closely with stakeholders, you will ensure messaging is coordinated, timely, and connected to business priorities. You will maintain the internal communications calendar and help measure the effectiveness of communications activity to continuously improve how we connect with our people.
What you’ll do
- Strategic & advisory
- Working with Internal Comms Director, translate internal communications strategy into clear delivery plans.
- Provide practical advice and messaging support to stakeholders.
- Support the development of key organisational narratives to help colleagues understand direction, priorities and change.
- Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Content creation and channel management
- Own and continuously improve the UK&I intranet while ensuring quality, governance and consistent brand, tone and accessibility across all internal communications.
- Produce and publish clear, engaging content across key channels – including intranet, newsletters, staff updates, digital screens and internal social platforms – supported by multimedia assets.
- Manage the internal communications calendar to maximise impact throughout the year.
- Stakeholder engagement
- Build positive, trusted working relationships across the business, surfacing stories and supporting leaders in communicating clearly and consistently.
- Partner with teams across our business to support organisational initiatives, values, campaigns and internal engagement moments.
- Handle sensitive or confidential information with sound judgement.
- Internal events
- Lead the planning of internal events including town halls and digital broadcasts and play a hands-on role in execution.
- Work with stakeholders to shape content, structure and audience engagement.
- Insight, measurement and continuous improvement
- Own and use insight, feedback and internal metrics to inform our internal communications plans and priorities.
- Stay updated on evolving internal communications trends – including more intentional, strategic communication moments and AI-enabled workflows – to help futureproof our function.
