The Global Foundational Insights Director is a senior role within Global Business Operations, responsible for defining and delivering the strategy for workforce data foundations, automation, and enterpriseâwide insight enablement. The role works closely with the Enterprise Data team in Global Technology to ensure aligned architecture, governance, and scalable data solutions.
The Role
- Data Model & Insight Enablement
- Lead design, optimisation, and governance of data models across workforce and timeâtracking domains
- Oversee ingestion and transformation workflows from Workday, Workfront, and other timesheet systems
- Partner with Enterprise Data teams to build integrated, scalable models and pipelines
- Guide offshore teams in developing Fabric semantic models to support selfâservice and enterprise reporting
- Automation & AI Enablement
- Set and execute the automation roadmap for workforce processes
- Assess and deploy automation technologies to reduce manual work and improve efficiency
- Support users on automation tools and best practices
- Contribute to practical AI use cases (e.g., workforce planning, talent insights)
- Integrate AI tools with HR, workforce management, and analytics systems while ensuring appropriate data privacy and security controls
- Governance, Security & Stakeholder Engagement
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and access standards
- Maintain data quality, lineage, and cataloging in partnership with governance teams
- Align requirements and delivery plans with Global Business Operations, Global Technology, and functional leaders
- Facilitate workshops and crossâmarket alignment on standards and best practices
What you bring
- Expertise in enterprise data modelling, architecture, and semantic layer design
- Strong understanding of HR, workforce, and timeâtracking data (e.g., Workday, Workfront)
- Proficiency with platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and cloud data ecosystems
- Experience with automation frameworks and RPA/workflow tools
- Exposure to applied AI in enterprise environments
- Strong grounding in data governance, quality management, and security controls
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead crossâfunctional and offshore teams
- Skilled in facilitation, simplifying complexity, and translating longâterm strategy into actionable plans
