We’re hiring a Group Financial Reporting Manager as part of our team based from our London office.
Purpose of the RoleReporting into the Head of Group Financial Reporting & Accounting, the role is an essential part of the Group Financial Reporting & Accounting team at dentsu international, leading the reporting side of the team in delivering the Group's internal and external consolidated reporting deliverables and contributing to the delivery of the Group's strategic finance priorities in relation to reporting, accounting and control.
Key Responsibilities- Planning, supervising, co-ordinating and reviewing the accounting and reporting activities performed by the team's (Senior) Group Accountants and offshore Centre of Excellence support team.
- Line manager to 1 out of 4 Group Accountants in the team, including all aspects of the annual performance lifecycle and their development.
- Collaborating with other managers in the Group Financial Reporting & Accounting team in respect of common workstreams.
- Management and/or delivery of key workstreams of finance transformation initiatives involving the team.
- Undertaking ad-hoc financial analysis for internal stakeholders, providing key insights and professional deliverables.
- Accountancy or financial qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent) – 5+ years PQE.
- Large, listed company multi-currency consolidation experience, either through external audit or group finance teams.
- Previous team management experience.
- Proven IFRS technical accounting experience, including business combinations, revenue recognition, leasing and FX/hedging.
- Excellent time and project management skills to be able to prioritise workflow in a dynamic environment.
This is a Permanent role. The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office twice a week. As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs.
