Purpose of the Role
The Investment Director will work closely with the Heads of Investment across dentsu X, iProspect, B2B and Carat, helping to grow our billings, drive adoption of key products and engage with media partners on a regular basis. This role would suit an ambitious and proactive Senior Manager or Director looking to take a step into a Director-level investment role. Working across agency teams, activation teams, with partners and clients – this is a varied and stimulating role to support in the delivery of the Amplifi and dentsu commercial goals.

We’re looking for someone who is ready to take the next step in their investment career. You may be a Senior Manager or Director, with strong media experience and a desire to broaden your commercial, partner and client-facing exposure. You don’t need to have done this role before. What matters is that you are commercially curious, proactive, organised, confident with stakeholders and excited by the opportunity to grow into a broader investment leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Forecasting & Revenue Management: Support monthly forecasting and reporting processes across the agency patch. Monitor product & billing performance, highlighting risks and opportunities. Support in compiling monthly reporting for senior leadership.
- Client & Agency Engagement: Represent Amplifi in agency forums, ensuring trading and commercial objectives are clearly communicated and understood. Spend time embedded within agency teams in the London office, building strong relationships with client leads, client managers and planning & strategy teams. Compile and update Bi Annual Media Market Updates working with activation teams to deliver the content. Support onboarding of new business, influencing early-stage partner/media spend direction. Act as a senior investment contact for selected growth accounts, supporting QBRs and client-facing investment discussions for mid to long tail accounts.
- Media Partner Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key media partners across London and the North. Identify opportunities to bring partner innovation, insight and added value to clients. Support the delivery of Media Partner Days, including one dedicated B2B partner event annually. Champion partner success stories and help increase awareness of opportunities across the agency. Surface and promote best-in-class work across priority channels and partnerships.
- New Business & Pitch Support: Support pitch and renewal processes, working alongside HOIs and client teams. Work with activation teams to streamline competitive reporting for pitches.
