Technology Manager - eComms/Logistics in Slough

Technology Manager – Logistics – Scale Up – Hands on element – API – Integrations – Data – Permanent – Remote Work – £60-65,000 plus bonus and benefits

We are hiring for a scale up business in the logistics and supply chain sector, who, following a reshape of the business are looking to engage a Technology leader to manage a small team but remain hands on in some key areas.

The role is focused on leading a team of 6 with hands on experience in API integrations and onboarding of carriers in to their tech landscape, with a real key eye on the solution design and working through problems as they arise. You will ideally come from an eComms or Logistics background or be a really sharp technologist that can pick these things up. If you have experience of SQL, Process Flows, SFTP\’s or similar that\’s going to help too.

Then team is small but extremely capable technically and this role is there to guide through solutions and provide the clarity on best approach and technical solutions. If you have any hands on experience o JSON or XML that\’s going to be beneficial too. From a leadership perspective you will be working closely with developers and supporting the workflow of development in to pipelines.

This reports in the most Senior Technical person in the business and will act as the \”number 2\” in tech, helping to support the strategy and roadmap to move the business forwards.
