We're looking for a senior front-end developer who takes real ownership of their work — someone who cares about the quality of what they ship and can lead others to do the same. You'll be the go-to person for front-end across a varied and evolving product environment, working closely with designers and back-end developers to bring UI/UX designs to life with clean, performant, and accessible code.
On the technical side, you'll need strong React knowledge (Redux included), solid HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript, and familiarity with build tools like Webpack and Vite. You'll be comfortable with Git and collaborative workflows, experienced with testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, and React Testing Library, and ideally have some exposure to front-end design systems. Experience with Azure DevOps, headless solutions, or mobile development would be a bonus, but isn't essential.
You will need to have operated as a Senior developer in previous roles and be able to take more junior team members under your wing, without the day to day responsibility of managing them. The business are at an exciting phase of their development and have some exciting projects on the horizon.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract with a 35 hour week and an excellent benefits package. Onsite, South Birmingham, one day per week.
