Do you fancy working in an organisation that has real meaning and purpose and are driving a genuine cyber resilience agenda? Dentro have been engaged to find a strong Cyber Security Lead with the ability to own and drive a comprehensive cyber security strategy.
You'll need to be well versed in cyber risk, governance and incident response, with a solid understanding of frameworks such as PSN, Cyber Essentials, NCSC CAF and PCI-DSS, and be able to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels and external partners.
The organisation has a cyber resilience improvement programme underway and you'll be playing a key role in leading it. You'll need to be both strategic and hands-on — comfortable shaping policy and direction one day and overseeing penetration testing or incident response the next, bringing the same enthusiasm and attention to detail to everything you take on.
Building and managing a cyber security team will come as second nature to you, and you'll be comfortable engaging with national and regional cyber bodies as well as internal teams and third-party SOC providers. You'll help champion a culture of cyber awareness across the organisation and keep things agile and resilient in the face of ever-evolving threats.
There is a varied and interesting remit on offer here, with real scope to make your mark, as well as a culture that values professional development and doing things properly. Hybrid working is available with a West Midlands base.
As a reminder you MUST have:
- Proven experience in a cyber security leadership role
- Strong knowledge of PSN, Cyber Essentials, NCSC CAF and/or PCI-DSS
- Experience managing cyber incident response and risk programmes
