Want to work where cybersecurity meets AI? This role is about deploying and securing AI models in production, implementing AI governance frameworks, and tackling adversarial ML threats in a forward-thinking financial services environment. Not your typical 'watch the dashboard' security gig.
You will operate and optimise core security tools (SIEM, DLP, IAM, endpoint protection) while building governance frameworks for AI in cybersecurity. Think Microsoft Sentinel, Purview, AWS/Azure security, Zero Trust implementation, and actually monitoring AI models for adversarial attacks, bias, and drift.
Reporting to the IT Director, you will have real autonomy to shape security and AI governance, work directly with senior leadership, and drive measurable improvements in detection, compliance, and resilience.
Role Responsibilities
- Operating security tools and building KPIs that actually drive improvements
- Implementing AI governance frameworks (FCA, PRA, GDPR, emerging AI regs)
- Monitoring AI models for adversarial attacks, data poisoning, and model drift
- Running risk assessments and vulnerability management
- Supporting incident response and driving continuous improvement
Experience Needed
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (FCA, PRA, GDPR, PCI DSS, SOX)
- Demonstrable knowledge of AI risk management frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Purview, or AWS/Azure security
- Cloud security expertise (AWS/Azure) and IAM experience
- A track record of delivering measurable security improvements
Nice to have: CISSP/CEH/CompTIA Security+, financial services experience, Zero Trust implementation, adversarial threat modelling.
AI isn’t a buzzword here – you will be securing real AI models in production. You will have direct impact working with senior leadership. The tech stack is modern. And you will be tackling challenges that most organisations haven’t even identified yet. If you’re tired of box-ticking security roles, this is your chance to work on what’s next.
