We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth practice management, maintaining high standards of patient care, and leading a team of dental professionals. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills to contribute to a thriving dental practice.
Duties
- Supervise and support the dental team, including reception staff, dental nurses, and hygienists, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and clinical workflows to optimise efficiency.
- Oversee financial management, including billing, invoicing, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Handle human resources responsibilities such as recruitment, staff training, performance appraisals, and staff welfare.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of infection control and hygiene.
- Develop and implement practice policies and procedures to enhance service quality.
- Liaise with suppliers and manage inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment.
- Promote patient satisfaction through excellent customer service and effective communication.
- Monitor practice performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a healthcare or dental setting is essential.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Experience in financial management, including budgeting and invoicing processes.
- Knowledge of human resources practices relevant to healthcare environments.
- Previous veterinary experience is considered a valuable asset but is not mandatory.
