The Finance Team at Dentons plays a crucial role in maintaining the firm’s commercial and financial health. The team manage and forecast revenue and costs, analysing financial data to help the firm make informed business decisions, optimize profitability, and improve cash flow. Their work directly supports the firm’s growth, helping maintain financial integrity in a high-stakes environment.
We are seeking an Accountancy Apprentice to join our Finance Team. As a Dentons Accountancy Apprentice, you’ll embark on a unique five-year journey. You’ll start working towards a university degree alongside your day job in our Finance team. It’s an opportunity to learn, grow, and earn simultaneously, without the burden of student debt. As an Apprentice within Dentons Finance Team, you will be enrolled in an Accountancy Graduate Apprenticeship. Over the five-year program you will work four days a week in our Scottish offices and study one day per week towards your degree. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to bridge academic learning with real-world application in a specialized and highly technical field. By the end of the program, you will have earned a Masters Accountancy degree and your Accountancy professional qualifications, complemented by five years’ worth of practical, technical, and professional experience.
Responsibilities:
- Enroll in and complete the Accountancy Graduate Apprenticeship program.
- Work four days per week in the Finance Team.
- Study one day per week towards an Accountancy degree.
- Apply academic learning in a real-world finance environment.
- Build practical, technical, and professional experience over the course of the program.
- Work towards obtaining Accountancy qualifications as part of the apprenticeship.
