We are looking for 2 Associate Dentists to join us on a Part-Time basis:
- Dental Associate 1 Working Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays (4 Days)
- Dental Associate 2 Working Days: Wednesdays and Fridays (2 Days)

Dentessentials Dental Care is a 5 Surgery Mixed NHS and Private Dental Practice based in the Liverpool Street/Shoreditch border, in the City of London. We command a High Street presence and have established a good reputation since we were established around 40 years ago.

We are Fully Computerised (SOE) with Digital X-rays (Vistascan), and Intra Oral Cameras in each room. You will have the backing of an experienced principal dentist (not a corporate chain manager), 3 practice coordinators, 6 Long Term Dental Nurses, 2 Hygienists, 4 other dentists, and dentists with Special Interest in Perio and Endo. We deliver NHS Dentistry, Private Dentistry, Clear Aligners and Simple Dental Implants.
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our 5-surgery dental practice in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. The successful candidate will have a passion for oral health and a commitment to delivering excellent NHS and Private Dental Care.
Remuneration will be £13 Per UDA for NHS work. Private Percentage will vary depending on Experience and Turnover.
Duties:
- Conduct dental examinations and provide appropriate treatment plans, mainly on the NHS
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns - NHS and Private
- Manage Emergency Dental Problems
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals
- Keep accurate patient records using SOE Software
- Carry out NHS Administrative Duties
- Carry out Compliance and Clinical Governance Duties such as Audits and CPD
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from a recognised institution
- Full registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- NHS VT Number and Experience in NHS General Dental Practice
- Proven experience working as a Dentist in a clinical setting, at least 2 years post VT
- Proficiency in interpreting medical imaging for diagnosis
- Excellent communication skills and ability to educate patients on oral health care practices
- Experience using SOE
- Recognisable Post Graduate Education preferable
- A varied Portfolio of Dental Procedures and Skills both on the NHS and Privately
