We are recruiting an Orthodontist to join our team at Abbey Orthodontics in the beautiful heritage quarter of the City of Dunfermline. Our registered specialists in orthodontics provide a full range of NHS and self-funded orthodontic treatment options for people of all ages. This can be on a full or part time basis.

Abbey Orthodontics is proud to have been providing a high standard of orthodontic treatment in the Kingdom of Fife since 2002. It is a modern, fully equipped two surgery practice which offers NHS and private Orthodontic treatments plus services such as Invisalign. Located to the east of Dunfermline Abbey, parking is available in the surrounding streets and its proximity to amenities such as eateries, pharmacy, post offices and shops makes this clinic a very convenient location.

The royal and monastic past dominates the city with a wide number of historical venues here, such as the royal palace, a 12th century abbey (which is the final resting place of Robert the Bruce and the burial site of 11 other Scottish kings and queens), the restored 15th century Abbot House and the cave in which St Margaret bathed the feet of the poor.
Despite its small size Fife encompasses several different regions, with a marked difference between the semi-industrial south and the rural north. Southern Fife is dominated by Dunfermline City, with the Forth Rail and Road Bridges, and the newer Queensferry Crossing the most memorable sights on the stretch of coastline. Heading north the landscape varies from gentle hills to windswept cliffs, rocky bays and sandy beaches. Located in the north-east of Fife you will find St Andrews, the home of the world famous Royal and Ancient golf club. Dunfermline City is just 18 miles from Edinburgh City Centre, offering the best of both worlds, stunning scenery, good rail and airport links as well as more affordable housing and excellent schooling. For those with children about to enter Further Education, there are financial benefits to living and studying in Scotland with no University Fees for Scottish residents (terms apply).
