About Dentafly
Dentafly is a growing private dental organisation delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a calm and professional clinical environment. Our Chiswick clinic focuses on private dentistry with high standards of clinical care, organisation and teamwork. We are now looking for an experienced GDC Registered Dental Nurse to join our clinical team and support the delivery of excellent patient care.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting dentists during clinical procedures, ensuring patient comfort, maintaining clinical standards and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. This role is suitable for a Dental Nurse with 3+ yearsβ experience, confident working in a private dental environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing chairside nursing support during dental procedures
- Preparing, maintaining and sterilising instruments in line with infection control protocols
- Ensuring surgeries are clean, organised and fully stocked
- Supporting dentists with accurate clinical records and documentation using internal software systems
- Assisting with lab work (incoming and outgoing) and referrals where required
- Delivering excellent patient care, reassurance and support throughout treatment
- Ensuring compliance with CQC, health & safety and clinical governance standards
- Supporting smooth patient flow within the clinic
- Assisting with stock checks and ordering when required
- Working collaboratively with dentists, nurses and reception staff
Working Hours
Full-time: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (rota-based), excluding unpaid lunch breaks, including:
- 08:00 β 17:30
- 08:00 β 18:30 (on selected days)
- Friday: earlier finish (e.g. 16:30)
Part-time: Flexible options available, typically 16β24 hours per week, to be agreed.
About You
Essential:
- GDC registered Dental Nurse (mandatory)
- Minimum 3 yearsβ experience working as a Dental Nurse
- Experience in a private dental practice
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) β additional languages are a plus
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Calm, professional and reliable in a busy clinical environment
Desirable:
- Experience assisting with implant, surgical or complex dental procedures
- Strong understanding of CQC standards and compliance
- Experience working with digital or internal clinical systems
Salary
Β£30,000 β Β£35,000 per year (full-time, based on experience). Part-time roles available with salary calculated pro-rata, based on hours worked.
