Here at Dentalcare Group, we are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Dental Educational Supervisor/Mentor to join our friendly and professional team in Dentalcare Swindon Central. We are an NHS/Private practice who pride ourselves in putting our patients first and ensuring that we provide the best care. Are you an experienced NHS dentist with a passion for mentoring and clinical development? We are working with a forward-thinking dental group to recruit a Dental Educational Supervisor to support a new training scheme for overseas-qualified dentists. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in helping international clinicians integrate into the NHS system, while maintaining flexibility in your own working week.
Responsibilities
- Work 3 days per week (flexible days to suit your schedule)
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to up to 3 overseas-qualified dentists
- Assess clinical performance and professionalism in line with NHS standards
- Liaise with the clinical leadership team and practice manager to ensure smooth integration
- Offer pastoral support and guidance to dentists during their NHS induction
- Attend relevant training and meetings as required
- Full GDC registration and an active NHS performer number
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in UK general dental practice
Qualifications
- A genuine interest in education, mentoring, and professional development
- Prior experience in teaching or supervision is desirable but not essential
