We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Periodontist for 1-2 days a week, on-site position at our Bletchley dental centre. The role involves providing specialised periodontal care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and performing surgical and non-surgical periodontal procedures. Additional responsibilities include placing and maintaining dental implants, collaborating with other specialists, and educating patients on preventive care and post‑treatment management.
We have a strong emphasis on the relationship between oral health and systemic conditions, working collaboratively with our medical and allied professional colleagues in the management of long-term conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, stress, perimenopausal and menopausal conditions. You will be working alongside a great team.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Dentistry, Dental Care, and general oral health practices
- Proficiency in Periodontics and Oral Surgery techniques
- Experience with Dental Implants, including placement and maintenance (including management of Peri-mucositis and Peri-implantitis)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and interact with patients
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Dentistry and completion of Specialist training in Periodontology
- Current registration with the General Dental Council (UK) or equivalent body
