An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated, organised and commercially minded Practice Manager to oversee two dental practices in the Slough area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong leader who can drive team performance, maintain high standards of patient care and compliance, and support the commercial success of both practices.
The Role
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of two dental practices, ensuring both run efficiently and effectively.
- Lead, motivate and develop practice teams, promoting a positive and supportive working environment.
- Manage HR responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding, training and staff appraisals.
- Monitor budgets, KPIs and practice performance to support commercial growth.
- Work collaboratively with clinicians and stakeholders to maintain excellent patient care.
- Manage patient feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Support compliance, operational standards and continuous improvement across both sites.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' Practice Management or General Management experience.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Good HR knowledge, including recruitment, onboarding, training and appraisals.
- Commercial awareness, including budgets, KPIs and business performance.
- Experience working collaboratively with clinicians and stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Understanding of dental practice operations, patient care and complaints handling.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to commute reliably to the practices or relocate before starting.
Desirable Experience
- Previous dental or healthcare Practice Management experience.
- Knowledge of NHS dental contracts and UDA delivery.
- Familiarity with CQC compliance and inspection requirements.
- Experience using HR, payroll or dental practice management systems.
- Knowledge of Exact / Kodak R4 dental software.
Salary & Working Hours
- Salary: From £36,000 per annum.
- Contract: Permanent.
- Working days: Monday - Friday.
- Hours: Full-time, approximately 9:00am-5:00pm, in line with practice opening hours.
- Practice type: Mixed NHS and private dentistry.
- Treatments: General dentistry and implants.
- Dental software: Exact / Kodak R4.
- Location: Slough area, dual-site role.
- Start date: ASAP.
