Are you a GDC-registered Dental Nurse looking for a permanent role where you can develop your skills, gain experience in advanced dentistry and work as part of a supportive team? A modern 5-surgery mixed dental practice in Exmouth is looking for a Dental Nurse to join its established clinical team. This is a particularly good opportunity for someone interested in implant nursing, as full training will be provided. Previous implant experience is welcome, but it's not essential — the practice is happy to support a motivated nurse who wants to learn.

Salary

£14.00–£16.00 per hour DOE. Salary will reflect your experience, qualifications and clinical skillset.

You'll be joining a busy 5-surgery mixed practice providing both NHS and private dentistry. The practice has a friendly, experienced team and offers a varied clinical environment where Dental Nurses are encouraged to develop their skills and gain exposure to different areas of dentistry.

You’ll support clinicians across a varied caseload, including:

Implant Training & Development

No implant experience? No problem. The practice is willing to provide full in-house implant training for the right candidate. You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Develop your implant nursing skills

  • Broaden your exposure to advanced dentistry
  • Continue developing your clinical knowledge and confidence

Previous implant nursing experience would be beneficial, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn are more important.

Your Responsibilities

You’ll play an important role in supporting the clinical team and ensuring patients receive a high standard of care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing effective chairside support
  • Assisting with general, implant and endodontic procedures
  • Preparing surgeries and equipment
  • Maintaining high standards of infection prevention and cross-contamination control
  • Following relevant CQC and clinical protocols
  • Maintaining accurate patient records using SOE
  • Ensuring surgeries are fully prepared throughout the working day
  • Providing patients with a friendly and reassuring experience
  • Working closely with clinicians and the wider practice team
