Dental Nurse – Orthodontics |Wimpole Street, London | Up to £35,000 pro rata | 4 days per week
Are you a GDC-registered Dental Nurse with an interest in Orthodontics, looking to join one of London's most established and prestigious private dental practices?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dental Nurse to work directly alongside a leading Orthodontist at a highly regarded practice on Wimpole Street, London. Known for its commitment to clinical excellence and outstanding patient care, this established practice offers the opportunity to work in a premium clinical environment alongside some of the country's top dental professionals.
This role is ideal for a Dental Nurse who is passionate about patient care and keen to develop their knowledge and experience within orthodontics. You will work closely with the Orthodontist, providing dedicated chairside support and helping to ensure every patient receives an exceptional standard of care throughout their treatment journey.
The Role
As the Orthodontic Dental Nurse, you will work directly with the Orthodontist, supporting the delivery of specialist orthodontic treatments and ensuring the smooth running of clinical appointments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing dedicated chairside assistance to the Orthodontist during clinical procedures.
- Preparing and maintaining the clinical environment, ensuring all instruments and equipment are ready for use.
- Maintaining excellent standards of cross-infection control, decontamination and clinical safety.
- Supporting patients throughout their orthodontic treatment, helping them feel comfortable and reassured.
- Assisting with the smooth running of appointments and maintaining an organised, efficient clinical environment.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and following practice protocols.
- Working closely with the Orthodontist to deliver a high standard of clinical care and an excellent patient experience.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic and patient-focused Dental Nurse who is keen to work within a specialist orthodontic setting.
You will ideally have:
- GDC registration – essential.
- A genuine interest in Orthodontics and a desire to develop within the speciality.
- Previous orthodontic nursing experience, although a motivated Dental Nurse keen to learn will also be considered.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
