The Role
As the Lead Dental Nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the clinical team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing chairside support across a variety of dental procedures.
- Preparing surgeries and ensuring they are fully equipped for each clinical session.
- Leading and supporting the nursing team while maintaining high clinical standards.
- Managing stock control and ordering of clinical supplies.
- Assisting with compliance, cross-infection control and decontamination procedures.
- Maintaining accurate patient records using SOE Exact software.
- Supporting the reception team when required.
- Helping to create a friendly, professional and collaborative working environment.
What We're Looking For
- GDC registered Dental Nurse.
- Previous experience using SOE Exact is essential.
- Previous leadership or senior nursing experience is desirable.
- Willingness to assist on reception when required.
- Ability to travel between the Beaconsfield and Iver practices (approximately 16 minutes apart) to provide holiday and sickness cover.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
Hours
Monday – Thursday 08:15am – 5:00pm (first patient at 8:30am)
Friday 07:45am – 3:00pm (first patient at 8:00am)
40 hours per week
Salary
- From £16.50 per hour, depending on experience.
