The Patient Care Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Reception & Patient Management: Welcoming patients, maintaining a clean reception area, managing calls/emails, leading staff huddles, and promoting the practice\βs reputation.
- Diary & Appointment Management: Efficient scheduling, managing recalls, and optimising appointment productivity.
- Administrative & Data Management: Maintaining accurate patient records, adhering to GDPR, and managing financial records.
- Patient Journey & Hospitality: Ensuring high standards of care, upselling treatments, and providing comfort to patients.
- Finance & Reporting: Processing payments, maintaining financial accuracy, and reporting income.
- Communication: Acting as a key communication point for patients and staff, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Compliance & Health & Safety: Adhering to safeguarding policies, infection control protocols, and the practices policies.
Qualifications
- Experience in front-of-house or administrative roles (preferably in dental/healthcare).
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems; knowledge of dental terminology is a plus.
- Proactive and team-oriented attitude.
