Dental Beauty Partners are excited to be opening a search for an Assistant Practice Manager to join our highly reputable mixed dental practice, Dental Beauty Southgate. This will be a highly varied position with lots of scope to develop and learn, whilst leading on aspects such as practice compliance, staffing rotas & more. You will receive a great deal of support from our head office functions and operational teams from day one in the role. The role will be based in our practice Dental Beauty Southgate, but travel will also be required to our practice in Welwyn Garden City. This is a full‑time position with flexibility in working hours required.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting with the smooth, efficient and compliant running of your dental practice – with a focus on patient safety at all times.
- Taking a lead on ensuring excellent practice compliance, utilising our compliance software to deliver this.
- Ensuring the provision of excellent service to patients, quality of service, cost and delivery of performance in line with company strategy, targets and mission statement.
- Providing support and direction to the team to enhance performance, skills and knowledge.
- Dealing promptly with any issues when they arise along with the support of our head office functions.
- Supporting in leading on staff training & development, performance reviews & management, recruitment support.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Ideally 1–2 years of experience prior in an Assistant Manager, Head Nurse or Head Receptionist role in mixed or private practice is required for this position.
- The successful candidate must have good compliance knowledge and be able to deliver this effectively in practice.
- Experience in supporting the leadership of a multi‑disciplinary team, and ensuring all are working in harmony to deliver a fantastic patient experience.
- Dentally software experience is preferred but not essential.
- Experience in providing exceptional patient care/customer service.
