Exciting Head Dental Nurse/TCO Position – Brand New Dental Beauty Practice in the Kingston‑Upon‑Thames area. Full‑time position. Join our team at the beginning of our journey with a brand‑new practice. Opportunity to establish yourself and grow with the practice.
Description
Dental Beauty Partners are an award‑winning dental group with close to 35 practices offering a wide range of dental & aesthetic treatments, both on the NHS and privately. This highly varied position will manage a team of exceptional dental nurses, while supporting the practice in treatment coordinator responsibilities.
The Working Hours for the Position Are As Follows:
- Monday‑Thursday (9 AM‑6 PM)
- Fridays (9 AM‑5 PM)
- Occasional Saturdays may be required
Key Responsibilities
- Lead our nursing team to ensure the practice offers the very best patient experience
- Perform high‑quality dental nursing support, assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures safely and effectively
- Maintain professional indemnity and registration with the GDC and undertake CPD in line with guidelines
- Assist with practice managerial duties when required
- Act as an ambassador for DBP company vision, ethos and values; maintain productive working relationships with all members of the dental team
- Promote equality and diversity at all times and across all work activities, promoting fairness, respect, equality, dignity and autonomy
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Ideally 2+ years of experience as a Dental Nurse, within a private or mixed practice
- GDC Registration is required
- Experience supporting a variety of general, cosmetic & restorative dental treatment is highly desirable
- Dentally software experience is preferred but not essential
- Ensuring CQC requirements are met at all times
- Experience in providing exceptional patient care/customer service
