We believe great dentistry starts with great people. Our clinical teams are made up of highly trained dentists with a wealth of general & cosmetic experience, supported by talented professionals across sales, dental nursing, support and operations roles.
As we continue on our growth journey, we are now excited to be opening the search for a dedicated Compliance Lead covering our practices in the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the companies compliance strategy across all of our practices across the group
- Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations & relevant dental, healthcare and legislative requirements
- Develop & maintaining robust policies, procedures and compliance systems for the business
- Conducting regular practice audits & compliance reviews, identifying risks and driving corrective actions
- Overseeing clinical governance, patient safety, safeguarding, infection control, health & safety, radiography and medicines management
- Monitor compliance KPIs and provide regular reporting, insight and recommendations to the senior leadership team
- Lead investigations into incidents, complaints, safeguarding concerns and compliance breaches, ensuring learning is embedded
- Support practices with CQC inspections, regulatory visits & action plans
- Ensure staff compliance across training, DBS checks, professional registrations, qualifications and mandatory requirements
- Partner with Practice Managers and clinical leadership to ensure continuous improvement
- Provide compliance support for new practice openings, acquisitions and integration projects - essential due to the fast growth nature of our business
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- We are specifically looking for a candidate with prior compliance leadership experience in a regulated industry (ideally head of, or director level experience)
- Full driving licence or ability to commute is essential for regular travel to practices across the UK
- The ability to work on some weekends & be available is essential for this position, as all of our practices operate on Saturdays & Sundays from the outset
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations & UK dental/healthcare compliance requirements
- Proven compliance and audit experience
- Excellent organisational and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage multiple practices & priorities
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive accountability across multiple locations
