Dental Beauty Partners are currently seeking both a full-time and part-time Dental Receptionist to join us at our lovely mixed practice, Dental Beauty Basildon. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and family-orientated practice team in the Laindon area which has really been extended, and with new Dentists joining us we are looking to add to our wider team. You will be joining a fantastic group of clinicians and wider support staff, led by our Partner Dr. Nik Sethi, who all work together in harmony to deliver a brilliant patient journey. The practice is very accessible via public transport, close to Laindon station and with parking nearby.
The details of our positions are as follows:
- 1x Full-Time Position - Monday-Friday (8.30-5.30)
- 1x Part-Time Position - Mondays & Tuesdays (8.30-5.30) & Saturdays (8.30-1.30)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a high-quality reception and administration service to ensure patient satisfaction & maximum contribution to practice efficiency
- Answering the telephone and dealing with patient enquiries in a positive, efficient and friendly manner, with a focus on going the extra mile
- Schedule patient appointments in accordance & effectively managing the diaries of our clinical team; all through our software system, Dentally
- Collect and record patient payments and pursue any debts in accordance with the practice payments policy
- To ensure compliance with DBP Information Governance Policy and GDPR
- Act as an ambassador for DBP company Vision, Ethos and Values; maintaining positive relationships with your colleagues
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Ideally 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Receptionist, within a private or mixed practice
- If no Dentistry experience, then a background within a front of house, customer service or medical coordinator role may be considered
- Dentally software experience is preferred but not essential
- Ensuring CQC requirements are met at all times
- Experience in providing exceptional patient care/customer service
