Responsibilities
- Planning and teaching well-structured, specialist one-to-one and small group lessons for pupils with SEND^.
- Screening pupils for Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs) and writing, implementing, and reviewing Individual Learning Plans^.
- Collaborating closely with subject teachers to ensure the wider curriculum is fully accessible through effective scaffolding and access strategies^.
- Taking an active role in coordinating access arrangements for in-class and formal assessments across key stages^.
- Communicating regularly with parents, colleagues, and external professionals to provide joined-up support and guidance^.
About You
- The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic practitioner with a genuine passion for inclusive education^.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and an Honours degree^.
- A Level 5 or Level 7 Diploma/Certificate in Specific Learning Difficulties^.
- Proven experience teaching and supporting students with SEN (such as SpLDs, ASC, and SEMH)^.
- Excellent communication skills to build strong, positive working relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues^.
- A positive, flexible approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team^.
